Post Modern Parts for Old Vehicles
One of the nice things about working on all kinds of cars at Carmax was getting to see how they were built and gather ideas for using their components to upgrade older vehicles. Some stuff might not make much sense or be incorrect since I didn't always have a lot of time to write it down, but here's my list of parts that could be adapted for older vehicles.

Pontiac GTP gauges are pretty cool.

Mini Cooper gauges and switches are, too.

'07+ Tundra rear axle looks pretty stout and has a ratio of either 4.3 or 4.1

Navigators and Expeditions have IRS. So do Suburbans and Envoys. Explorer IRS is junk.

'04+ F-150 single and extended cab seats have integrated seat belts.

Lincoln LS has IRS and shares it with Jaguars.

BMW x5, Lexus ES 300, and LS 430 seats are comfortable.

Chargers have IRS.

If you trust it, the Malibu Maxx and other GM cars have electric power steering.

Hummer H3 has a nice power mirror control.

Nissan Armadas, Infinity M45s, and GTOs have IRS.

'04 Trailblazers have integrated seatbelts. So do the '04 Caddy SRX and CTS (they're probably power and heated, too).

'02 Jaguar S-type and '08+ Ford Super Duty quad cabs have nice dome lights.

I have a late model Crown Vic e-brake listed for some reason.

Mini Cooper and 90s Miata outer door handles.

Honda Pilot grab handles have integrated dome lights.

Nissan Titan and Jeep Liberty 4x4s have non-torsion bar IFS. The Liberty uses a strut centered over the half shaft.

'99-'06 full size GM trucks/SUVs have integrated seatbelts in the front seats. Cadillac versions are powered and heated as are some Yukons.

'00 Infinity QX4 and Expeditions have IFS.

I have Hummer H3 4x4 suspension listed for some reason, not sure if it's IFS or what.

'06 Saab 9-7 seats have seatbelts.

Some Toyota Matrix and Pontiac Vibe have inverters made for small things like laptops. '08+ models have a hole for the ground prong.

Some '05+ Tacomas have 400 watt inverters in the bed made for running power tools.

Nissan HVAC controls are nice for a modern look.

So what stuff do you guys know about?

Yeah, I'd forgotten about a lot of it. Most people only know about the Silverado seats that have the belts in them.

another (complete) dash and consolle i realy like is the one from a lexus IS200 the speedo kinda looks like a rolex watch , it will be hard to graft the instruments to the older stuff its all electronics , servo's intergrated radio airco and more of that new fangled stuff
