Naomi's right knee give out on her last Sunday. She used a walker and hobbled around until Wed. when we called an ambulance. A day of X rays, pokes, prodding, and a shot and an ambulance ride home and we were still at square 1. She made it until this morning and she asked to go back to the hospital to make it easier on her and us. (My daughter in law has been coming over to help during the night) So she's in the Camden hospital for how long I don't know. Please pray for us and her.

She had more tests today and they still don't know for sure what's wrong. They told her she would be there for at least 20 more days. We'll See. Thanks for the prayers and support.

Thanks Arron. We need the Lord's help since the doctors don't seem to be able to get a handle on it.

Yesterday afternoon, 2 nurse's got Naomi up to put her on the bedside potty chair. Naomi somehow as she was turning to line up with the chair broke her right leg just above the knee. They transported her by ambulance to Paris where she will have surgery today at noon. They are going to put a plate and a steel rod in to patch her up. Please remember her in prayer today as she is scared and not sure of what's going to happen next. I will be at the hospital until she is back in her room and comfortable. Thanks folks.

Prayers for both Naomi and you during this trying time. I have rods in my legs. They greatly help both the healing and strength, Tell Naomi please dont be scared, God will make sure everything comes out good.

got to her room at 10:00 am so I would be there when she went in to surgery.At 3;00 pm that she would be the last one in and it might be 5-6 pm. They came and got her at 7 pm and she went in surgery at 7:30. Took her in to recovery at 8:30 and she was back in the room at 9:30. I stayed until 10:30 when they told me she would be out of it for the night on the pain meds. The doctor said it went well and we would have to wait and see how things go about the knee. So just keep praying that it will heal good and not give her any problems. Thanks guys.

Thanks for the encouragement. They moved her by ambulance back to Camden hospital Friday afternoon to do the rest of her PT there. When she runs out of time there she will be moved to a rehabilitation center until she gets to where she can walk or is healed enough to have knee replacement surgery. We have a ways to go so please remember us in prayer. Thanks again for all the prayers and well wishes.

Good news for a change. Naomi said she walked from her bed to the door of her room and back today. ( using a walker) She sat up in a chair for 2 hours and had lunch during that time. She was ecstatic. Thanks to all who have kept the prayers going up and keep them coming, for we aren't out of the woods yet. God bless you all.

Well, I spent the day (5/31) moving Naomi and her "stuff" from Camden hospital to the Paris rehabilitation center. Paperwork to leave and more paperwork to admit her. She will be there until she can use the right leg enough to walk with a walker. We have a ways to go yet so keep the prayers coming. We appreciate them. Thanks.

Thanks for your concern Larry. First I'm doing great. Naomi is still in rehab and making progress. We have a meeting this Wed. to talk about what equipment we would have for her to come home. For sure a hospital bed and a wheelchair. I'll have to have a ramp built to roll her in and out. We are going to have a busy next few days.

Well praise the Lord. Naomi will be coming home next Tuesday (7/24/2012) She has been gone 12 weeks but she has improved enough for them to cut her loose. I have a new wheelchair ramp that I hope will get her in the house easier. We still have a ways to go but we'll take this for now. Thanks again for all the thoughts and prayers. Ron

Ron Thoughts and Prayers to U and your family. I have been away from here for awhile it is good to be back on this site again.

Well miss Naomi is back in the house. 13 weeks is the longest we have been apart. I went to see her as much as possiable but it's just not the same. Thanks again for all the thoughts and prayers and well wishes. Hope to have her up and at em soon.
