Post I found Earl
Gave Earl a call and found out that he is still working for the same company but in a different capacity and for less $$. Jodi's job was cut so they are living on about sixty percent less income. Needless to say, they have cut all non-essenial expenses including internet. She is going back to school to be an EMT and will graduate in April.
He said to say Hi to everyone and will try to get on sometime soon (no access at work) and give us an update.

He also mentioned that the water pump has gone out on the Duramax (high $$ repair), so he could use some help there.

I havent had time to work on it. I did score some parts for it new set of heads and cam and lifters. May be a while before it gets any farther along I neet to have the block honed out and get the rings and barings still so I can get it back together, but that will have to wait until I get the money back on track.

I think Im going to put a 2wd trans in it for now and start driving it again If Im lucky I wont have to sell it and and will be able to keep it.

My idea of a perfect seasons would be 350 days of summer (80-90 degrees, 25% humidity) 5 days of fall, 5 days of winter and 5 days of spring.

lol, it wouldn't have worked without $80 in new pipes which
is sad for me to say I don't have to spend. (It's bad I know)

*Technically I didn't sell it, it was final payment on my Trans

I have one of those Propain heaters that looks like a jet engine heats up the garage in no time . but Im only heating 24x30 now i use to heat a 40x60 with it it did ok. I would like it to be 75 year round. As soon as I can roll the GN out of the shop its engine is coming out and Im going to rebuild the frnt end bought every thing to do it when I bought it and never did guess it will let me feel like im getting somthing done until I can rebuild it.

got one of those propane jet heaters youre talking about there working realy whell
used to work for a screenprintingcompany they made flags and had a space about 2 footballfields long about as wide as one and up about a footballfield too
we had two moveable dieselpowered jetheaters that heated the place up enough to dry the ink on the flags in about one hour the fan ran on 380 volts (3 phase power here) and started electric
shouldnt be too hard to have some barrel converted into a woodburning stove from wat i remember there a lot of woodlands in tennesee so there should be quite a bit laying on the ground after a storm

are youre going further after youre finished the EMT course Earl?
read a internetstory a while back (http://www.spearfishlaketales.com/others.htm) and i know its an advanced first aid course thats being used by ambulance personel first responders at the firedepartment and by leading people in constuctionsites seems to me its a good place to work

Those torpedo heaters`ll heat ya right up.They do like to drink fuel.Earl,I`m sorry to hear those punks busted the Suburban rear windows. As if things didn`t already suck.Hang in there. It`s been a tough 4 years here with plenty of trials and tribulations.I`m living all year on what I used to make in a couple months.I never thought I could make it,if you can call it that. It`s got to get better.
