Earl, Man I am so sorry to hear about your Mom, hope she gets well as soon as is possible. She is a "VERY" fortunate woman to have even lived through that mess, thats pretty bad. I will keep her in my thoughts...

Wow! Your mom is a very fortunate lady.We had an accident similar to that here years ago. The driver of the truck and tractor both died and a passenger in the truck was sevierly injured.
We will keep your Mom in our prayers Earl.

from the looks on the pics its a pretty bad crash and shes lucky he didnt had any farm equipment hanging of the back of the tracktor , a driving instructor i had here had a student that accidently drove into a tracktor carrying a plow and it whent over the hood of the car and took a big chunk out of the doorpillar

i wonder who wiil eventually have to pay the bill here : the farmer wasnt running lights after sunset but youre mother hit him in the back and was speeding round a corner she most probably couldn't see around

Thanks guys mom has had a sergery done on her every day this week. and they still figure a few more left to go before its over with. the guy on the tracktor is doing good it threw him off the tractor and in to the mud and water filled ditch so he had a some what soft lanfing other then crapes and brusese he walked a way with a broken nose and a sore body from getting hit.
If you notice the creas in the center of the car and the hole above the wind shild that is ware one of the forks from the tractor went in he was using it to move round bails of hay one fork went up in to the window and the other down the side and took the mirror off. the fork eas only 4 in from her head when the got there.
the guys was at fualt and his farm is paying for it all. he is a nice guy and is trying to take care of every thing. he was on the high way and the speed limit was 65 ware this happend so he definitly should not have been there. the investigator said the impact speed was between 55 and 60 and that she never hit the brakes. Im trying to get a pick of the fork lift atatchment that was on the back so you guys can see why she didnt see it it was like a big black wall in front of her it hid most the orange of the tractor.
We found out today that this was the 2nd time he had been hit after dark on this high way last time it wasnt as bad.

hopefully the guy has learned now not to do that again or trailer the tracktor over the road when the speedlimit is that high (allways thought the speedlimit in the states was 55 mph) the fact hes wasnt even running a orange flashlight on his tracktor makes me think he isnt sane or has a high respect for other lifes anyway over here youre not alowed to drive over public roads with forks atached to the forkboard like that the accident i mentioned myself happened on a rural road .
its a good thing he will have to pay for everything cause with all those operations on youre mother the hospitalbill will most likely be going through the roof .

i hope youre mother will be ok after all of this is over
it should've been better if it didnt happen offcourse but according to wat you tell us shes been pretty lucky despite wat happened to her

Glad to hear she is improving. I know the diabetes hinders things but she is improving.
