So, I got u-bolts for the axle today, and they are 3 1/8 " inside, will those work? I am hunting for axle perches as i type, so hopefully i will find some soon. How did you adjust your pinion angle (something i hadn't considered with the front hanger flip)? I am actually going to do the disc brake conversion at the same time, so this should work out well. I looked at my drop shackles and noticed that had multiple mount points, so i may be able to still use them!

I bought 3 1/8" wide U-bolts. Where did you get your U-bolts? I had to take mine back off and the threads are in terrible shape and I didn't crank down on them that hard. I got mine at NAPA and, of course, they are Chinese made.

I cut my spring perches off of an old 8 3/4 rearend I have. I just welded mine on the exact opposite side of the original perches. That should keep the correct pinion angle.

Got mine at Gettozone. My axle is an 8.25" Chrysler and measured about 3 inches on the axle tubes. I think the axle tubes on 8.25 axles is the same as 8.75, but I'm not sure....

What is the width of the axle perches, and what is the diameter of the centering pin?

The axle perches are the same size as the ones on the 8.25". I got mine off of an 8.75" from an A-100. I had to drill out the centering pin hole to fit over the centering pins.

I'm doing the Grand Cherokee conversion. I'm on the hunt for a suitable donor :-)
