you actually clear over the "patina'd" paint so it would only need to be redone as often as a high dollar paint job :)

well, thinking back about the video...I guess you don't have to clear over it, but I would (with a satin clear)

A buddy of mine locally here, picked up an old caprice that would lay frame. He was parting it out and I picked up ALOT of the goodies for a STEAL!!!!

Got a Tank, 8 1/2 Valves, Viair 460, 2 bags w/cups(or at least the bottom cup), switch box, all of the 1/2 inch line out of it, and all the fittings.

Mandi's feeling a little better since we've been home with Lizzy, so I was able to get out and get a little done on the blazer today. About to go out and do a little more. I took off the old Lower Control arms that somebody stepped them up because they were too cheap to buy drop spindles. csbatey was nice enough to drop a factory set of lower control arms to me and they actually had new ball joints in them. Thanks to Chris!!

I'm having to cut off the bump stop bracket and bump stop so it will go lower

Nice progress. Have you done any more with the patina finish? I am thinking of doing it with a new truck I just picked up and need to post the build here (here's the link-- http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/show ... p?t=478262 )

Nothing more yet. I have to find the door handles from where they were shaved. Just haven't spent the time to start grinding down.

Got alot done on the burb today. Installed the bag brackets, cut the cups down to 5/8, installed the bags, and installed the 3 inch drop spindles.

Got done right before it started pouring with some help from my best worker.

Got the rear bags on schrader valves yesterday and got the front almost done. Except I don't have the rotors or calipers yet, so it won't be on 4 wheels.

Bought a set of 22's with tires off Craigslist today. One of the tires needs replaced and one of them has some curb rash, but they were really cheap.

Well, that was me selling the A/C dash and components to Woody and he gave me a non A/C dash.

Heck, that's been so long ago that Craig still had the 4x4 and the other 2wd.

Yeppers, I miss that 2wd, but the $ helped me get further on the 4wd/2wd changeover.
