pretty nasty. interior was gone and you could see the ground where the floor used to be. bed was full of limbs and leaves...I'm sure it was rusted through. I just took the shot because I like the color and tree going through it.

Yeah. Is it where a person can see it or is it on someone's land?

someones property. I tried going back to the place a couple weeks ago when we had lots of snow and never could find it. My buddy took me the first time, but so many turns and backroads I would never be able to find it without him leading the way. I do know the owner was willing to sell, but he didn't part anything out. He only sells the whole vehicle and some are still not for sale. I think he had 2 of those Cameo's. If I remember correctly one was out in the open on a hillside. He said everyone of them drove to where he parked them.

Dang, be nice to save that Cameo. I'm needing a new front end for my '56, was kinda hoping he'd be willing to part it out.

yes he sells them, but only sells the whole vehicle... now some of the ones in his boneyard are just pieces, but it would take a visit to see what was available. He is still attached to some of the vehicles... 'I'm gonna get to that one next', we have heard it a 100 times before. One of my favorites was an Oldsmobile Woody...it was not for sale.

Is that a 64 or 65 ElCamino behind that Cameo?

Even that 1st Cameo with the tree up through the engine compartment is a great find if the bedsides aren't all busted up. Rust don't bother fiberglass and they are just mounted to Stepside beds. The bumper and tailgate are also needed to convert, but the sides would be great parts to salvage.

Yup, I'd like to know, too, if you don't mind.
