Post Snowy days
Well, the snow from this new year's winter blast is finally almost all melted away(at least around here, anyway). Before it all disappeared, though, and while the roads were clear I got a chance to get the ol girl out and snap a few pics. I hope ya'll like them.

I was hoping to get some different angles and some better offset views, but the sun was just in the wrong spot, and the narrow road I was on didn't allow me to manuever much.

Pretty good bro! In my very unprofessional opinion I think the 3rd and 6th ones are the best. Not to bright (lighting wise  ), Front tire clocked with the face of the wheel towards the lens, not to much foreground.... works for me! Course your opinion is what matters in the end! The more you shoot, the better your "feel" for what's right will be.

Thanks, Asa. Yeah I wasn't too happy with this round of pics. I just couldn't get the right lighting or position. I also had to keep moving around and try not to get my feet and pants buried in the snow on the road sides. Didn't want to get it all in my truck. Not to mention I was getting cold and kinda rushing the pics. My camera is also tough to get good pics with. It's kinda wierd, and I haven't quite figured it out. My dad's Nikon D70 works alot better, but I didn't have it.

The main reason I got out to take these pics is because I just simply don't get my truck out in bad weather. I didn't have an option back when it was my DD. I've wanted to get some snow background shots for a while, but roads are usually covered in salt or salt brine around here at the first mention of a falling snowflake.
