Post Bed
Hey this going to sound likr a dumb question but here it goes.I went to put my bed on my frame today and it sits 2 or 3 inches lower in the the rear than it needs to.I put a jack under the bed and raised it to match the body line.Question is do fleetside beds have something that goes underneath the rear bed mounts? Thanks Blaine.

Im a newbie but heres what it might be. On the cross sill in the back you might find that the bed was from an earlier truck and the rear mounts dont line up with the frame. If this is the case you probably need to relocate the rear mounts. Hope this helps. Also make sure you have all the Cross Supports from front to back properly placed because if you have a short one where the tall one goes that could throw it off as well.

nothing under the rear bed mounts but maybe you're missing a crossmember? I've seen people modify or remove them for rear mount gas tanks...
