Post Southern KY Classics
We stopped in for a few minutes after the Vette tour last Friday to look around.
Staff was pretty friendly, not pushy, and the prices were pretty good too. Well
I needed a new rear brake hose for ]v[erlot. (The main reason she didn't make
the trip to the 5150 cookout) They had it for $25 and all I had was $25 with me.
The weekend was just starting so I passed on the hose cause I needed to have
some cash on me. (Alot of people were bringing parts to the meet) Well I had
to work Monday night (Another long story) and slept part of Tuesday. So I get
to work on Wednesday and start calling around for this hose. Discontinued at
the GM dealer (TY BY88 for checking) Napa didn't show one? Oriley's said we
would have to special order it. (Along w/ ADV and AZ) Called Woody and he
looked it up from school, Napa does carry (Idiots) Anyways I thought I'll just
pull the SS Braided one off of "GQ" then it hit me, just call SOKYC and see if
they could ship it to me. Well for just $10 it was sent via UPS ($35 total cause
TN residents pay no tax) I never told them that I was from here even though
we had talked that day about a Vendor possibility. Gave them my work addy
cause Buisnesses get stuff faster from UPS then my house does. While I was
at work UPS came, no hose, oh well I had called them at like 2:30pm on the
day before so I can't expect miracles right? Wrong passed the UPS guy on my
way home and when I came down the driveway it was on the front porch.
Although I Luv Tim w/ all my heart I gotta give these guys props where they
are do. They sure made a believer out of me and I'd order from them again.

So this is my PERSONAL thank you to the guys at SOKYC, you all rock :punk:

They were at the "Stones River" swap meet in January. (Nashville)
and sold my buddy a cab floor. They were getting everyone to sign
up for their new catalogs. Well I got it today and the prices are fair
as always, but the Catalog cover on this thing is well, just WOW

I wanna second that notion!! Allen from Woodall's Custom Automotive (partner/owner with SOKY) has been absolutely fantastic and found stuff for the old Dodge that nobody else could get. Super friendly, great parts, and it don't hurt that its only 35 minutes away!

My buddy called today and asked if I could
pick up some parts from them when I went
to Woody's. I told him I didn't go that way
and he said "They will be up at Gatlinburg
September 3-5 for the Show" Now what is
he talking about? They are a Truck Vendor
& don't do cars or hot rods that I know of?

If you ever do buy anything from them and plan on picking it up vs. having it shipped, buy it on their website (making sure to leave a note you are picking it up) and when you pick it up they won't charge you sales tax.
