Post Blazer Heart Transplant
As I mentioned in another post, I'm paying for my engine to be replaced in my Blazer. I bought the crate motor from Jeg's. It was on sale with free shipping and since I live out of state, no tax. I teach high school math so I decided to tutor math and pay someone else to do my mechanicing. He started on it Monday morning, and by Tuesday afternoon I was there to check up on it. The pictures were taken Tuesday. He should be finished by the end of the week. Looking forward to the first drive.Image

    Jer, I am not knocking your man because you have told me about him and his abilities but when I saw that picture of him I thought wow, that is exactly what I tell my students people think of when someone says "mechanic". Hat on a little crooked, cigar dangling in mouth, dirt shirt and coveralls. I would love to spend some time in his shop looking at his collection of parts. I'm sure you will be riding in style soon.

He is definitely a mechanic. His shop is awesome. You wouldn't believe all the treasures he has sitting around.

Thanks guys. It is done! I stopped by today for a look and hear and everything looks and sounds great. I can't wait to drive her home tomorrow after work. As usual I asked if he had a ticket ready and he said he would work on it and let me know next week. He likes to make sure you are happy with everything before he takes $. The top comes off this weekend and she's getting a cleaning.

That's funny right there. I don't care who you are.

We took two students to Nashville for the Ford/AAA competition and was on the Motel internet. I was up til almost 4am looking at pics.
