Post Valve cover clearance
When I put my motor in, I have about 1/4 inch clearance betwwen my tall valve covers and the firewall. I want to keep the tall covers- can I move the motor mount towers forward about an inch? I am swiching to TH350 so the trans xmember won't be an issue. Thoughts?

I don't see why it would be a problem at all.

the mounts are slotted where they slide in the frame. As long as its not touching when the engine torque's up it shouldn;t mater though.
