Post 350 Intake Manifold Questions
Image

Found a 350 Intake Manifold from a 2000 Tahoe on Ebay. I will (eventually) be switching to 305 vortec heads on my 307 and wondering if this manifold will bolt up with those on? Are the injectors on the 350 different than the one's on a 305 or is it just the computer that's different?

That's a Woody question for sure, and with school
out he has limited internet access. When he sees
this he can answer if someone else doesn't first.

Trai, it won't work. Too many computer things on the new Tahoe for it work on a later model.

I mean I guess it would work but by the time you do all the work to get it to work you could have just gone with a 5.3 or 6.0

it could be made to work but it would be cheaper and easier to leave it on ebay

Thanks guys I knew there would be a bunch of computer mess, but it's at $25 now and thought I might steal it. I agree though, start out with a 5.3 or something like that if I am going fuel injection. I actually found this looking for a carb intake manifold to work with the vortec heads, so just thought I would ask.

P.S. Very surprised to find new vortec intake manifolds for under $100 on Ebay. There's even some name brand stuff on there for around $200. I had heard the manifold was gonna be outrageous, so good news.

If I were you I would look for an LT1 or LT4 intake form there you have to modify it some but nothing i cant walk you threw then get a set of fuel rails from a tpi motor and and use one of the cheap fuleinjection systems I posted about earlier. I may even have some of the stuff you need. Tjis is how I use to do it back in the day when I was the big dog in the 3rd gen world. I can make any fuel injection intake for a 350 for on those heads so if you can get any thing cheap I can make them work just rember it will cost around 100 to 150 to modify a standerd 350 intake to a vortec one.
If I remeber this week Ill take pics of one of my vortec TPI set ups.
